Responsive website commissioned by ICAT

AJA Design launch a responsive website commissioned by ICAT. WordPress was adopted as the CMS, with an additional e-commerce function.AJA Design launch a responsive website for ICAT. ICAT is the the International Centre for Aerospace Training. It is, without doubt, a world leading training provider. Working with civil and military organisations, it has a reputation for innovative solutions. A well considered, design led responsive website for ICAT aimed to reflect their expertise.

Based at Cardiff Airport, ICAT is an approved Part-147 training centre, and as such,  can set Part-66 examinations. But its premium product is the Distance Learning B Licence programme, developed to meet the key Civil Aviation Authority Part-66 licence requirement. Learning material and support is available in online and text book format, both of which are unparalleled in quality. To date, ICAT has proven success delivering training to over 5000 students.

To complement this premium product, the new website needed to be both aesthetically pleasing and practical in its functionality. Learning material is all available online and purchase is also possible through the  e-commerce function.

AJA Design’s Tom Hensman says: “The responsive website commissioned by ICAT has been one hell of a challenge. A lot of the work went into the preparation stage where we held a workshop with ICAT to thrash out what they wanted from the site and what they expected form it.”
